Job Summary:
The Sales Manager will lead and oversee the sales team to drive revenue growth, develop strong client relationships, and achieve company sales targets. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and business development to expand market presence and maximise profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue goals.
- Monitor market trends and analyse sales data to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
- Set clear sales goals, KPIs, and performance expectations for the team.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching for continuous improvement.
- Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities, markets, and potential clients.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Lead negotiations and close high-value deals.
- Sales Operations:
- Manage the sales pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting.
- Oversee the preparation of proposals, contracts, and presentations for clients.
- Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, finance, and operations, to align strategies and achieve goals.
- Reporting & Analysis:
- Track sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Analyze customer needs, feedback, and market trends to adjust strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyse data, forecast sales trends, and strategise accordingly.
