Job Title: Chief Product Officer (CPO)

Location: London, Liverpool, Hybrid.

Salary: £80,000 – £90,000 per annum + performance-based bonus

(Salary dependent on experience; bonus linked to sales growth, margins, and supply performance)


About Chromatics Europe

Chromatics Europe supplies high-quality powder dyes and pigments to the plastics, resins, and polymer processing industries across the UK and Europe. Our reputation is built on product reliability, technical know-how, and strong supplier partnerships.

As we continue to grow, we are appointing a Chief Product Officer (CPO)  to join our board of Directors. We are looking for a candidate with a strong commercial and supply chain background to drive sales performance, secure supply, and optimise our product portfolio.


Role Overview

The Chief Product Officer will take ownership of commercial product strategy, sales enablement, and supply chain management. This role is highly hands-on and commercially driven, ensuring that the right products are sourced, competitively priced, reliably supplied, and effectively sold into the plastics industry.

This is a senior leadership role with direct influence over revenue growth, supplier relationships, and market expansion.


Key Responsibilities


Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Drive commercial performance of the product portfolio across powder dyes and pigments
  • Support sales teams and key customers to close deals and secure long-term supply agreements
  • Develop pricing, margin, and volume strategies aligned with market conditions
  • Identify new sales opportunities within      plastics, resins, and polymer markets


Supply Chain & Supplier Management

  • Lead supplier relationships across Europe and international markets
  • Negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial terms
  • Oversee inventory and demand planning to ensure availability and cost control
  • Mitigate supply risks and ensure continuity for strategic customers


Product & Market Alignment

  • Ensure products meet customer technical requirements and application needs
  • Align product availability with forecasts and sales strategy


Regulatory & Quality Oversight

  • Ensure compliance with UK and EU regulations (e.g. REACH, SDS documentation)
  • Maintain consistent quality standards across suppliers


Leadership & Strategy

  • Act as a senior decision-maker within the business
  • Contribute to commercial growth strategy and market expansion
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, logistics, quality, and finance


Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience in pigments dyes, plastics, polymers, resins, or specialty chemicals
  • Strong background in sales leadership and supply chain management
  • Proven commercial negotiation and supplier management experience
  • Solid understanding of plastics industry supply chains
  • Results-driven, commercially focused leadership style
